Orders & Quantities

What Is the Minimum Order Quantity for Custom Packaging?

MOQ is confirmed for the proposed product, material, size and artwork. For an initial bulk-production comparison, provide 50,000 or 100,000 pieces per SKU/design, or state your actual quantity. These are planning references, not a universal MOQ commitment.

Is the Quantity per Product, Size or Artwork?

Identify quantity for each SKU and artwork version. Different sizes, structures or designs can require separate production arrangements. List the full range so the quotation can confirm the MOQ basis for each item.

Can I Combine Cups, Bowls and Boxes in One Enquiry?

Yes. Include a line for each format, size, lid and artwork. Individual MOQ, packing and schedule still need confirmation. A combined enquiry does not automatically make all items one production SKU.

Can I Evaluate Samples Before Placing a Bulk Order?

Discuss a sample that matches the decision you need to make. Reference, custom printed and pre-production samples serve different purposes. Confirm the configuration, costs and approval boundary first. See Samples & Ordering.

Can I Reorder the Same Packaging?

Keep the previous order reference, SKU, drawing, approved artwork and sample version. Confirm that the proposed repeat uses the same configuration and packing. Review any revision explicitly before production release.

How Should I Compare Two Quotations?

Use the same product configuration, quantity per SKU/design, print coverage, components and packing. Then compare the quoted delivery scope and approval arrangements. A lower unit price may describe a different order basis, so resolve the differences before making a purchasing decision.

Customisation & Artwork

What Can Be Customised?

Discuss the artwork, paper appearance, proposed lining, size, structure and outer packing. Available options depend on the product and order. Separate print-only changes from structural development so the sample and quotation cover the right scope.

What Artwork Should I Provide?

Share editable vector artwork where available, final text and colour references, with fonts outlined or supplied. Use the proposed product dieline and identify the artwork revision. The team should confirm the production file requirements for your selected process.

Can the Same Brand Artwork Be Used Across Several Sizes?

The visual identity can be consistent, but each size needs an adjusted layout and separate approval. Check seams, folds, print position and text at the actual size. Keep a version list for every SKU and language variant.

How Should I Approve Printing Colours?

Agree the colour reference and how the physical output will be compared. Screen appearance alone is not a complete production standard. The substrate, printing process and viewing conditions affect the result.

Can You Develop a New Size or Structure?

Share the intended use, dimensions, reference sample and reason for the change. The proposed structure, development work and any tooling must be reviewed before availability, MOQ, sample arrangements or production timing can be confirmed.

Why Does Artwork Need to Be Reviewed on the Dieline?

The physical pack includes seams, folds, rims and closing areas. Check where the artwork sits after forming, how text reads at actual size and whether important graphics cross an interrupted area. Use the confirmed layout for each format rather than scaling one flat design to the whole range.

Samples & Approvals

What Is the Difference Between a Reference and a Pre-Production Sample?

A reference sample helps you assess an existing format. A pre-production sample supports approval of the agreed configuration. Record any differences between the sample and the intended bulk product before making an approval decision.

Are Samples and Courier Shipping Free?

Confirm the written arrangement for your request. Sample preparation, printing, tooling and courier costs may differ by sample type and destination. Any refund or order-credit arrangement must be explicitly agreed.

What Should I Test with a Packaging Sample?

Use the intended food or beverage, filling conditions, hold time, lid and carrying routine. Review fit, closure, appearance and any relevant performance questions. Record the method, observations and sample identity.

What if the Sample Needs a Change?

Describe the issue against the intended use and proposed specification. Mark the requested change on a drawing or photo where useful. Record the revised version and agree whether another sample or document review is required.

What Should Be Approved Before Production Starts?

Keep the specification, components, artwork revision, agreed sample, acceptance criteria, order quantity and packing aligned. Confirm the commercial and production-release arrangements in the order record.

How Should I Record a Sample That Differs from the Proposed Order?

Give the sample an identifier and list the differences in material, dimensions, components, print or packing. State which decisions it can support and which remain open. Do not carry a reference-sample approval forward to a changed bulk configuration without reviewing those differences.

Quality & Product Documents

Are All Paper Packs Suitable for Hot Liquids?

No universal use condition should be assumed. Suitability depends on the actual paper, lining, structure, lid and test conditions. Provide your intended food, temperature and contact time for a product-specific review.

Can I Use a Paper Pack in a Microwave, Freezer or Oven?

Do not infer suitability from the material name or another product. Describe the appliance or storage method, temperature, duration and contents. Ask for the exact configuration and supporting use information to be reviewed.

Can I Request Product Test Reports?

Ask for the document set relevant to the proposed SKU, material and use. Review the named entity, issuer, date, tested item and conditions. A raw-material report should not be treated automatically as a report for the complete finished pack.

How Do I Check Cup and Lid Compatibility?

Identify the actual cup and lid versions, then review engagement and use as one assembly. Nominal capacity or rim diameter alone does not establish compatibility. Keep the matched component references in the approved specification.

Does a Paper Pack Automatically Qualify as Recyclable or Compostable?

A paper appearance is not sufficient evidence for an end-of-life claim. Review the complete construction, supporting evidence and relevant disposal route before approving product wording or artwork. Describe your requirement in the enquiry.

Should Separate Components Be Included in the Review?

Yes. The pack works as an assembly. Identify bought-in or separately packed components, their version and the relevant compatibility questions. Keep the full component list with the approved configuration so a later substitution is visible before production release.

Production, Shipping & Payment

How Long Does an Order Take?

The full schedule includes specification and artwork review, samples, approvals, production, transit and receiving. Ask for the schedule basis for your actual SKU mix and destination. A general factory lead-time statement is not a door-to-door delivery promise.

Which Shipping Arrangement Can I Request?

Provide the destination, order mix and receiving requirements. Ask for the available shipping scope and the commercial terms in the quotation. Clarify which transport, destination and handling items are included.

What Packing Information Should I Ask For?

Request the approved pieces per case, case dimensions, gross/net weights where needed and label information. Separate lids or other components may have different packing. Confirm the actual proposed data before freight planning.

Which Payment Terms Apply?

Payment method, deposit, balance and any other conditions must be confirmed in the current quotation and order agreement. Do not assume that terms from another customer, market or previous enquiry apply to your order.

What Information Helps You Prepare a Quotation?

Provide the product family, dimensions, lining or material preference, lid/closure, print, quantity per SKU/design, destination and target receiving date. If a detail is unknown, state the intended use and ask for a recommendation.

Can Freight Be Planned Before Packing Is Confirmed?

Early freight estimates need clear assumptions. Obtain the proposed case quantity, dimensions, weights and packing for each item before confirming the transport plan. Distinguish an initial estimate from the arrangement agreed for the actual shipment.

Factory Review & Ongoing Support

Can I Request a Factory Review?

Share the products you intend to source and the production or quality questions you need to assess. Discuss an available video or on-site review format, timing and the relevant evidence before arranging it.

Can I Request Documents for a Particular Destination?

State the destination, product construction and intended use. Ask the team to confirm the available documents and their scope. A general website statement should not replace review of the proposed configuration.

How Should I Report an Issue After Delivery?

Keep the order reference, carton labels and affected samples. Send photos, the SKU, affected quantity, observations and use conditions. Discuss the investigation against the approved specification and order record.

How Should I Introduce a Seasonal Design?

Treat the seasonal artwork as a controlled revision. List affected sizes, quantities and target receiving dates. Confirm layout approval, print references and how the old and new artwork will be identified in packing.

How Do I Contact FUDE with My Requirements?

Use the project enquiry page to enter your phone number with calling code, email and message, then choose Send Enquiry to submit directly through Zoho Forms. Your name is optional. You can also contact bryan@fudepkg.com directly.

How Should I Manage a Specification Change?

Describe what is changing and why, identify the affected SKUs and keep the old and new versions distinct. Review whether the change affects the sample, artwork, quality documents, packing or schedule. Record the revised approval before applying it to a later order.
